Welcome to the world’s largest online secondhand bookstore. No longer listing books stored in a pickup truck on Amazon, ThriftBooks gets a retro refresh that adds character and brand recognition.
If this project looks familiar, that’s because it’s an update of a project I did in 2022 – a brand redesign for ThriftBooks that was a part of my senior project. This time, look forward to an earnest dive into a retro vibe for my favorite bookstore.
Even more retro.

THE PROCESS
Updating ThriftBooks’ brand while maintaining its identity required maintaining its current teal color while supplementing with a retro orange. A suitable font update, a mix of an eye-catching script and a highly-legible sans serif, helps add character while ensuring ThriftBooks stays at the forefront of secondhand book sales.
